Lashes

Shine Envision Nails professionals are certified in eyelash extension application.

Eyelash extensions are semi permanent and are applied directly to your individual lash to provide volume and length to your own lashes, so they look and feel natural. Eyelash extensions will stay on until you shed your own lashes naturally. They do not damage your lashes, as they are applied with a non-toxic adhesive and are non-damaging to your skin or natural lashes. Your eyelash extensions will last longer with proper care, common sense and regular touch-ups.

* Touch-ups are quick and you will not even need mascara!

* If you are past the 5-week mark, please schedule a new set of lashes.

Things to Know

  •  A 50% deposit will be required upon scheduling any full-length lash extension service. The standard 24-hour cancellation policy will apply to any lash service.

  • Shower before your appointment. It is suggested that you do not get your lashes wet for at least 12 hours, preferably 24 hours, after your application. This will allow the adhesive to be bond properly. If you need to wash your face, we recommend to use wet towel to clean your face.

  • Refrain from any excessive sweating and heat/steam for the first 48 hours after application. Exposure to regular heat, such as a facial, sauna or steam room, will weaken the bond and cause the lash extensions to fall off. If you are exposed to excessive heat regularly, lash extensions may not be for you.

  • Please do not wear any makeup, moisturizers, or eye cream to your appointment. If you wear contacts, you may want to wear your glasses to your appointment. you may resume wearing your contacts after your appointment.

  • Avoid oil-based cleasers, lotion, or eye-makeup removers while wearing lash extensions. Oil is an enemy to lash extensions, it dissolve the adhesive, which causes falling. We recommend to use oil-free or water-base makeup remover and cleanser. Make sure you clean your lash extensions properly a few times a week with lash cleaser. After they get wet, dry them with a hair dryer. (Tip: position your hair dryer 30cm away from your closed eyes and blow them with cool air at low setting.)

  • Be gentle with your lashes. Brush them when you wake up, before bed and after you dry them. If you need to remove eye make up, use cotton tips to wipe away from the base. Avoid rubbing your eyes excessively.

  • Do not use waterproof mascara, as this may weaken the adhesive bond when removing.

  • Do not curl your lash extensions with lash curler or electronic lash curler, as it will bend them.

  • Do not put strip lashes on, as the glue will stuck onto the extensions and prevent your natural lashes from growing.

  • Do not tug or pull! Do not try to remove them yourself. It will damage your natural lashes. If you wish to remove them, let we do it for you.
